I haven't been back to exercising yet. Hopefully after knitting group tomorrow night. However, I did a ton of housework today, so that counts for something.

Naturally, since Greg's been home I haven't been eating as well as I do when he's away. He'll be gone tomorrow and Friday and tonight I made my meals/dishes - I have a ham slice, fish, squash, butter beans, asparagus, and kale. Not sure the kale is good, I know it's late in the season, so I'll find out when I try it.

I'm feeling better, but still sniffling. I can't wait to get back into the swing of working out so I can continue to tone up - I love seeing the results I've been getting. I think since I'm doing Chalean Extreme and have missed quite a bit of time, that I'll pick up where I should be, but probably repeat 1 week before moving on to the next Phase.

Knitting tomorrow night! A group of women meet at my house almost every Thursday and we sit and knit/crochet and socialize. It's great. A woman started the group 3 years ago and we met at her house for about a year, or year and a half. Now we meet at mine. The group ranges in women from 27-78! Sometimes we have 10+ people and sometimes it's just 2 of us, but either way the friendships have been so nice to have and I look forward to Thursdays.

Just finished a book "The Dog Who Danced" by Susan Wilson. Greg's mom reads all the time and she just gives me them when she's through! It's nice, but since she doesn't work and she reads all the time I have a hard time keeping up with her and consequently have 2 large, large stacks just of her books I need to get through. Plus, I have some I need to read, and then because I'm trying to read Greg's mom's pile I haven't gotten to the library to read books she'll have no interest in.

I wanted to share this recipe I found on pinterest with you guys. It is DELICIOUS! I made it with blueberries and raspberries. Yum, I can't wait to make it again!

Living with someone who eats differently than you can make losing weight a huge challenge. That's how I started gaining weight shortly after I got married :S It's taken 22 years but hubby and I are finally both on the same page. Good things come to those who wait! LOL. I really fear the notion of getting sick, especially while I am training with Oliver. He said that if you stop weight training for one month that you will lose all that you gained - but it comes back faster once you start again. Scary stuff! I love the idea of your knitting group. My neighbour from years ago used to have a group like that. She called it Stitch and B%#ch - the name made me laugh because it was, as you said, a group of ladies ranging in age from young to old. I don't take the time to read as much as I'd like. I should start doing that again. My daughter is an English major at university and is obsessed with books. She often recommends one that she's read and all of them have been really good. The baked oatmeal looks really yummy. I didn't read all of the commentary so I didn't see if it mentioned how many calories was in a serving or what a serving size was. Did it say? I may pass the recipe along to my daughter because she is a big fan of oatmeal. Thanks for sharing!

Book Club is to wiener4 as knitting club is to bibliomaniac. One of my goals for retirement is to start a women's book club wherein we read the classics. Any excuse -- I mean reason -- for cocktails & converstaion! Wish my mama belonged to a knitting club. She is a bit isolated in the winter months. I will have to check out the healthy recipe too! Yum-yum!
