Went out to eat for the first time in a while. I've been making pretty good progress with my weight, so I was a little nervous that I'd give in to all the yummies at one of our favorite restaurants.(My daughter's choice- son's at a sleepover) But I was so proud of myself that I declined the freshly baked bread and fried appetizer that my husband ordered. I stuck to the Low carb menu section and opted for salad, veggies and fish. Now I'm back home, and have nothing to feel guilty about, or beat myself up over! I really enjoyed my dinner and I don't feel like I missed out on anything! A big step for me. I'd usually just slip and be off the diet for a few days. But I'm really making the commitment to stick true to this!

Nice job! It's so easy to slip at a restaurant.

When one is able to decline the highly refined foods and make healthy choices consistently, it's a sign that one is really "getting it." You're really on a roll now Leann, only five pounds to go...
