the last couple of days have been beyond stressful. I am completely out of sorts today. Emotionally and physically drained. Not caring about much. Trying desperately to watch what goes into my mouth, and using exercise to control anger, anxiety, and the general blahs.

it does not seem fair that when you feel like your on track for once someone or something throws you off.

oh well tomorrows another day, so just need to make it through today.
one minute, one hour!

"Anxiety" is the word that I picked up on in your journal this morning. Anxiety makes many of us eat, ret, or hold on to weight even when we are eating healthy, exercising, and resting. Let's try lots of things. Deep breathing, bubble baths, slow liesure walk, and of course journaling or talking about the stressful events. Hang tough kiddo!

I understand. For me this STRESSFUL year at school "triggered" my eating of comfort foods. The stress seemed episodic and would sort of "come over me." I "numbed" the neck tension, headaches, sleeplessness and such by eating carbs. We will help you take care of you.

once again many thanks.. i can only hope to repay the favour. i think i am over eating to fill some gap that may or may not be there. because if i feel like crap from eating too much i don't need to concentrate on other more important things. weird the way the mind twists.

Right there with you Pam. Do our best to ride it out is all we can do. Maybe we'll take a few new lessons when we come out from under this craziness.
