Another thing I forget to mention in my earlier entry is that I hate the sizing in this country! I mean, why can't "size 6" be the same for all companies? It's so frustrating! Greg was at the beach for a work conference for a few days this week and I love these Columbia pants he has, but can't find them online in my size or in catalogs or at sporting good stores. So there's a Columbia outlet and I asked him to stop and get a 6 short for me. Which he did because I was SURE a 6 would be a little tight now, but with losing the weight I'd be able to fit into them well soon enough. These are the pants I want to go geocaching in because they're comfortable, durable, but I wouldn't mind getting them dirty because they would be my caching pants! Arg. So I'm frustrated because I tried them on today and while I can get them on they don't even come CLOSE to getting buttoned. I'm not going to return them though because I want to get into them, they're my goal...well part way anyway, I want to get into my "hot" pants again and feel comfortable wearing skirts and dresses, but I really wanted these pants!! Which means I need to exercise exercise exercise. I think I'm going to make a schedule and try and get Greg to stick to it (any ideas about that...?)

Anyway, I'm just mad at sizing and me not fitting in the new pants. :(

I agree! In the U.S. you really have to try on things. It depends on the company that makes it.

Its the same here in the UK my dear, I hate it too! But its definitely a good idea to keep them and be DETERMINED to fit into them!
