So I'm a bit disappointed with my weight loss on the Extreme Fat Smash, I have been (well before the holidays) gong to the gym regularly so I'm sure I was adding muscle as well...but Greg and I have talked about things because we both need to lose about 25ish lbs and it's easier to diet together. Since neither of us have a specific event/thing we need to lose by we've decided to do Weight Watchers without the meetings. The meetings near us just aren't conducive to our schedules and as long as I have you guys that I can account to I think I'll be ok! We both have the books and information from them because I was doing WW a little over a year ago. It worked well for me because I was consistently losing, although it would fluctuate weeks (as in lose some one week, not lose the next). I'm hoping WW will work better with our life style. What I want to try and do though is really focus on getting in my milk and fruits and vegetables and using my points on the "good" things rather than "bad". However, I know there are times that won't always happen, so that's why I think using the WW points system will work for me because it will make me realize how much I'm eating as far as calorie-wise. Wow, so this is a long ramble to basically just say I'm switching things up in a couple days to try WW! Wish me luck!

Cool! I think you'll do great on WW. Although I don't do WW, I have several friends who are doing it and they look great. So I wish you all the success! Happy HolidayS!

I agree with your ideas to try something new--that is exactly what I'm doing right now, going with the SB phase 1 diet! I've been on weight watchers for a while now, and the most frustrating thing for me is that I've been stale-mate (sp?). I read an article in which ONE comment made all the sense to me in the world! You will not lose weight if your energy intake matches your output energy. Hmmmm...that got me to thinking about reevaluating WHAT I ate and how HARD I worked out. After weeks without budging on the scale, I lowered the points per day and increased the amount of exercise. It worked for a while, then I met the "wall" again. I guess i'm just trying to say that at least YOU are not giving up, without trying to find the answers as to why you are not losing anymore! Something has gotta give, right??

Change is a good thing, sometimes. I think you'll do awesome on WW! Just mixing it up sometimes helps 'shock' the body into listening :o)! GOOD LUCK!!

yeah I must say that sometimes I thought that you werent losing as much weight as you deserved to on the Fat smash, as you were sticking to it very well and exercising like a demon! Good luck on the WW. x
