I guess I like herring. The kipper snacks are really good and don't have much fishiness to them at all while still providing healthy omega fats and protein. The smokiness covers up the fish nicely.

I didn't care for the paprika style herring. The fishiness came through the sauce (yuk).

If I'm ever starving in the middle of nowhere with two choices to make, I'll remember the above. But, like you said - it is good for you and that is what matters!!!
