Doing well so far. I worked out both Monday and Tuesday and worked outside doing hard physical labor for 3 and a yesterday and today. Eaten well and have been keeping track of my points for the week! My goal is to lose 2 lbs this week, so keep your fingers crossed.
Greg and I are going with some friends to TN this weekend. We can't really afford it so we weren't going to go, but they rented a chalet and decided they were going anyway and want the company so we're not paying for it, but we are making brunch and dinner on Saturday as our "payment". I'm looking forward to it.
Greg is leaving at the end of the month to go to New Mexico to work again. He will be there at least through the end of August. I am happy and sad at the same time. I am sad of course that we will be apart with just occasional visits for so long, but happy because he's been searching for a job here for 4 months and hasn't had any luck and I know he's bored out of his mind. So this is the same job he did this summer and he likes it and the people there and it's an income. Plus room & board are provided for him which is nice that we're not also paying extra rent.
We're trying to stick to a budget and pay our debt down so this is nice that he'll have this job, even though it's not a lot it's something. And I also got a small raise that started this past Monday.
Next Monday I'm starting classes at the local technical college to get my paralegal certificate. Since I already have a BA I only need 8 courses. I'm excited!! I've missed school. So classes are Monday and Wednesday from 6-9 - it's going to be a busy year. Working full time, class, etc. That's another reason that it's good Greg is going to be in NM because it's easier for me to focus on ME when he's not around. That's not mean, you know how it is!
Cindy you're right, FS does help me stay on track, so I'm going to try to log in regularly.
