Day 4 - I know I shouldn't weigh myself everyday but I couldn't help it this morning and it said I lost 3 pounds. That is really motivating for me. I guess it also helps that I started taking Phentermine. I got it from the doctor to help my appetite and give me a little more energy. It really does help! My short term goal is to fit into my jeans I wore before I got pregnant with daughter number two. I don't want to go buy new clothes if I'm going to lose the weight.

great job. the only pitfall with weighing every day is that you can jump up a pound or so in a day too which has the opposite affect of motivation :S But its typically just water weight anyhow, so it always falls off right away too.

The first week of SBD phase 1 has a HUGE diuretic effect. Even if the weight you lose is mostly water, your body has to shed that water before it can get started on the fat. So you're still making a lot of progress right now, just expect a slow down after this week. Nice work!

Just a word to the wise, with around 100 lbs to lose, sometimes you can flux as much as 5 lbs up and down a day. Sounds nuts, but I've done it more often than I can count. And it happens when you're being 100% perfect on the diet or when you slip up a bit. Don't get discouraged.
