I'm back again. I hop onto my fat secret. periodically. 2 years ago I lost a chunk of weight with fasting 36 hours two times a week. it was really quick and easy but somehow I stopped doing it and have never quite gotten back again. I've learned a lot more about nutrition, the gut microbiome and me. about a month ago I began removing sugar from my diet. no more milk and sugar in my tea, usually cream in my tea now. I've also decided that any bread I eat needs to be sourdough and make sure it is the real thing, I have grown my own sourdough starter and been making bread. I don't really want to be eating a lot of bread but it sure is good. I've lost a bit of weight without trying. I think as I get better at avoiding all sugars, which includes carbohydrates, I will probably lose more weight but I'm not paying any attention to calories at this point. I'll let you know how it goes
