Good morning buddies. Thank you for the supportive comments yesterday.

You're right HCB, they don't expect perfection. I guess I set very high standards for myself, I'll do the best I can and that will be that. Reviewing some things I don't feel one hundred percent comfortable with today/tomorrow and it will be what it will be. Talking to some of the other students in my group I just may have gotten the best grade of that weekend. I'm going to the hospital to get my assignment tonight after my husband gets off work and we go pick up his car from the repair shop.

So I had a DFW experience yesterday. We were practicing IV therapy in skill lab and I posed for a picture with the IV I inserted into a dummy arm. Well my friend didn't stop taking pictures there and she ended up tagging me in a photo on FB that is... less than flattering. Okay, it makes me look huge! I was just recovering from the negative self image then this picture pops out of nowhere like a slap in the face. Maybe I'm in denial, but I really don't think I look like that. We have to wear these stupid blue polo shirts as part of our class uniform and maybe its just the way it hangs on me or something but ugh! It's terrible.

Tomorrow is weigh in, hoping for a couple pounds. Last week I only got one, so I feel like there are a couple more lost pounds yet to be discovered for my effort.

Not sure what I'm doing yet today. Reviewing skills. Going to get my husband's car. Going to the hospital to get assignment. As far as exercise, I'm not sure. I'm sure I will figure something out.

I just read your journal from yesterday too and you should be proud of that A, you worked hard!! I'm sure those patients were happy with how well you did. Your instructor probably is harder on you because she expects more from you and knows you always do A level work. As for the pic on FB, don't pay too much attention to it. Sometimes you are just at the wrong angle, it's a bad camera, etc., you look awesome, so don't worry about that pic. I hope you get a good assignment!!

Save the picture. When you hit 170, have another one taken. More fun that way.

Camera angles, body position, etc. can make a huge difference in picture and how it "appears". Don't let it get you down, you have been doing great.
