Fell off the wagon briefly last night. Our little boy was sick throughout the day, with vomiting and fever; had to put him to bed all afternoon, which threw out the whole day's timings. He's okay now, thank heavens.

So we ended up ordering a delivery pizza at 9 pm. That led to wine, which led to tortilla chips and then chocolate too. Damn, it's so easy to sliiiiide! :-)

My terrible heartburn through the night and grogginess this morning is a stark reminder of why I shouldn't be eating and drinking this way.

Bought almond milk today for the first time, and it's quite nice! Not in coffee, as it's the fat content of real milk that makes my one daily mug of coffee so good. It's fine for drinking and cereal though. Also bought some Impossible plant-based "chicken" nuggets. The plant-based foods in Walmart are pretty expensive, I see. Still, looking forward to trying them later.
