LKFB349's Journal, 28 July 2014

I have counted calories for the very first time in my life. I have never paid attention to the caloric intake on a meal by meal basis. According to my rdi I should use no more than 1600 per day, well, this makes me squirm. With what I have eaten for breakfast and lunch, and what I plan for dinner. I will exceed 2067 calories. I guess I could give my self some room for a learning curve, but I don't want to lean on a crutch.
I did vacuum 3 rooms, dusted two walls of decorations, so maybe I will make this work.

Weight loss is a learning curve. You need to find what works for you. Planning is key with weight loss. Try planning out your meals a day ahead so you know what you are eating. Get the most bang for you nutritional buck. Fruits and vegetables are high in fiber low in calories so you can eat more and be less hungry. Protein also keeps you satiated longer. Greek yogurt, string cheese, lunch meat, etc are great snacks. Calories add up fast. If you do 400 for breakfast and 400 for lunch, you have 800 for dinner and snacks. It takes time to learn a new way of eating, so give yourself some room to learn. Good luck!
