Well today I reached my halfway point. Already feeling better but I know these last nine pounds will be hard to lose. My husband is noticing a difference and that's encouraging me to keep going. I need to start working out my abs more though. I was doing great and noticing some muscle formation but I havent done it in about a week so Im not seeing them so much anymore haha. But monday will start my ab workouts again. Trying to lay off the lower body exercise except for cardio because my legs just get bulky and I want them to look more slim. Today Im spending the day with my husband and we are going for a walk in the park on this beautiful day. Kind of worried about this week. Monday is pi day. You know the math symbol 3.14? Well tomorrow is the date 3.14.11 so every year our friends get together for a pie competition. Sounds silly but its just something fun we do. We all make awesome pies and have to taste eat one to judge. UGH! Not looking forward to that. I will take VERY small bites of each. Also St. Pattys day is thursday too which means more fatty food at a friends house. Hoping I do well this week. Any encouragement is very very welcome. Hope you all have a wonderful day today! Love the idea of pi day! Maybe a really thin base with lots of yummy fruit with some kind of diet friendly drizzle on it - that is my sensible being talking, my evil side is saying thick crust all steak and gravy pie :) - well done on reaching your first goal - stay strong and enjoy.......

Hahaha yah thats the thing. A diet pie will not get me to win the competition. I have to make it as fattening as possible haha. Thanks for the encouragement everyone!

Good for you though, you are thinking ahead on how to keep towards you goal. Better than showing up to your events unprepared : )

I tend to develop alot of muscle in my legs as well. I am pear shaped so perhaps it's my body type???? Either way, congrats on reaching the halfway mark!
