Good morning everyone! Hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday. Of course the celebration hasn't ended, lol, we keep this rolling all weekend.

I did fabulously yesterday. I logged 3 miles for myself, bringing my total up to 8.25 miles. I'm still behind, yikes! Not by much though, so I should be able to catch up easily.

My daughters parade went well. She did an awesome job, very proud! Lots of walking, tons of people, and we get to do it all over again next week for a festival parade in another town. The cookout went well too. Instead of wanting to get a little bit of everything available I chose some chicken, baked beans, and macaroni salad. The things I really wanted. Calories actually ended up being a bit low for the day, and I was fully prepared to have a snack when we got home for the night. After the cookout we went to Cedar point. We rode rides and walked around the park waiting for the sun to set for the fireworks show. When it was time we went down to the beach on lake Erie to watch. The fireworks were so beautiful, as were all of the boats out on the lake. It was perfect, laying on a blanket with my husband and kids. When it was over it took us two hours to get home, traffic was that backed up leaving cedar point. I had expected that, so no frustration on this end. We got home at 1am, and I was officially more tired than I was hungry, so bed won lol. It was a perfect day on all fronts, I don't get many of those :).

Today is the graduation party. I am making deviled eggs and fruit salad. I don't know what will be there to eat, but if I could survive the last two days this should be no big deal. I don't really know the grad, I'm just going because I'm good friends with the hostess lol. I need to get some miles in today, so I think I will make an effort to get to the gym this afternoon.

Tomorrow we are going to a waterpark, just the husband, kids and I. So I need to get some supplies for sandwiches that we can pack and take along. I also need coffee and creamer before tomorrow, so that means a trip to the store after the gym lol.

Looks like I've got a busy day for myself. I could really get more done if my husband would wake up at a decent hour, but he's up all week long for work and I like to let him sleep. Someday I'll sleep too lol

Love deviled eggs and once I accepted 'good fat' and that they are low in carbs I stopped avoiding them like the plague. You're doing very well!
