I feel like I am at the point in this game where my mind is starting to play tricks on me. Some days I can see the changes and feel good and get excited about my potential. The rest of the time (and with increasing frequency) I have been overwhelmed by just how much further I still have to go.

I have seen a lot of difference in clothing size, by this point I think I have dropped about 3 or 4 pant sizes, but the only time I really see any weight loss in myself is when I compare current pictures with older ones.

most if this will always be there but I am hopeful that by the time I reach the 199 it will be easier to stay positive.

it was also gotten a little weird because people have been noticing for a good while now but they are apprehensive to bring up the elephant in the room. I have had a few people at work take me aside and very cautiously ask if I have been losing weight, I assume they are afraid that they might offend me or something but in a way it is really nice to have someone notice and care enough to bring it up.

I have been talking to Ellen from work about weight loss occasionally. never really liked her but she is really the only person that I know who has lost a substantial amount of weight and kept it off. still it has been nice to have someone to bounce thoughts with. I enjoy having such a supporting online community but there is something to be said for face to face communication.

really just trying to keep myself positive at this point. more than half way to my first BIG goal and still losing pretty steady. funny how it is usually easy for me to stay optimistic but I always manage to get so negative about this.

It can take up to a year or more (when you get to goal) to actually see the new body. I think we all have days when we look in the mirror and feel good and others where we get overwhelmed. You gotta dig those heals in and keep going. Look how far you have come. Time is going to pass anyway and its better to be on plan and get to goal. Make small goals for yourself (no time limit) and reward yourself with non food items to help keep motivation. Pinterest.com has great quotes, pictures, and recipes for motivation. You gotta be a NIKE commercial and JUST DO IT!
