Actually have been on Atkins for 3 weeks as of tomorrow and have shed only 10 pounds. I was advised to put in my food items on this site so that I can track my macronutrients on a daily basis, as I've hit a 'stall' this week and not sure why. Thanks for any encouragement...I'm getting a bit discouraged. :)

10 lbs is actually really good. But based on your diet calendar from today, I can see you need more carbs, in the form of veggies. You should keep your net carbs to around 20 a day. Hope that helps :)

Hi Shadowx1110! Yes, I totally agree. I am going to have some broccoli with dinner, so that should help me. I also just snacked on 1/4 of an Atkins Indulge bar, so that will up the carbs. It could explain why I feel a tad light-headed.

10 lbs in three weeks is great! I have heard that the Atkins products are not the greatest to shed quickly, as they contain the alcohols which have stalled some people. Eat fats and don't worry about calorie consumption.

Hey Kathy watch out for those packaged Atkins products - they cause stalls for many of us. Since I gave them up and committed to real food on the Atkins diet as described in the book New Diet Revolution it's worked wonders for me. The current Atkins company and website is not reliable in my experience. Very best wishes on your journey!
