This is the first time I have ever counted my calories and it seems to be working for me. I lost 2lbs in the first week.

Year ago in order to stay thin I would just Binge and Purge. This was normal practice for a lot of teens and young adults in the 80’s & early 90’s. The good thing is it never became an addiction for me. I guess I am one of the lucky once.

In the late 90’s I put on a lot of weight. I thought the easiest way to lose the weight is to drink slim fast and just eat vegetables for dinner. The strategy worked I lost 40lbs in no time. The drawback to this type of weight loss is once you change you eating habits back to a normal routine the weight comes right back on much faster than you know. I thought I had control but, 1 year later I was 50lbs heavier.

This time I decided to just eat healthier and exercising. I was not going to deprive myself of the foods I loved. I just made sure I balance these out with healthier options. This time it took me 2 years to lose the 50+lbs. Slow and steady!

I have kept the weight off for 10+ years but,in the past year I have gained 10+lbs back. I have tried over the past few months to take off these extra lbs. but nothing worked? So here I am giving fatsecret.com a try. 10lbs might not be a lot for most but, for me it is big deal.
137.0 lb Lost so far: 3.0 lb.    Still to go: 12.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
