I've been on atkins induction for 2 solid weeks, and my weight has barely budged! Very frustrating :( my doctor recently ok'd phentermine, will begin taking it this week, I'm super excited and hope it helps! I've been on it before with great results, but this time it's a little different because of my hypothyroidism. Does anyone else that is hypo take phentermine? If so, what are your results?

I have hypothyroidism as well but no I don't take phentermine. For my hypothyroidism I take synthroid. But my losses are still slow. But hang in there, this is the only diet I have been on in years that has shown any results.

I'm on synthroid too... Was on generic levo, but it did nothing for me. I've heard that hypo people do well on low carb diets, so far it's true for me. Before I started this diet, my weight continually increased from 145 to 200 lbs! I'm beginning to lose, but like you, it's definitely slow. I've also learned that sugar and anything with white flour is horrible for me. It makes my skin break out, and makes me put on pounds almost instantly.
