scherriesberries45's Journal, 10 April 2014

A little disappointed. i have been walking, to and from work, about a block, every day, and some days walking on my treadmill for 10 minutes. I've been eating more veggies than anything else. I still have my popcorn when I get home. The only thing I haven't been consistent with is drinking water. I really don't understand how this weight still stays on me. I'm so tired!

You have to drink water. Aim for half your body weight in ounces a day. It helps flush out any toxins and loose weight. You can do it! Also try and challenge your body with new excersices on a regular basis. Your body gets used to the regular routine it needs some change.

Some things to think about. Are you tracking all your food honestly? Studies show people who don't track tend to eat 30% more than they think they do. Are you getting in lean protein, lean dairy, fruits and veggies? Protein and high fiber foods help us lose fat better than any other food groups. Are you eating too many processed foods (they contain a lot of sodium). Are you drinking water? Water flushes out sodium and keeps things moving. Have you started a new exercise program or changed the old one? Muscles retain water to help them heal which can mask our losses. Google "why the scale lies" for insight. Are you eating the right amount of calories to help you lose? You might have to play around with calories to see what helps you lose.
