SherrieC's Journal, 21 March 2014

Good Morning All, today I am going to try and drink more water, less food, and watch what I eat. I must say, I am not extremely disciplined with myself when it comes to eating the right things and working out to get the pounds off. What I think is healthy and good for me I eat, but it just doesn't seem to matter.Yes I know this mornings breakfast was not good for me, I'm not really sure what I am doing.I read everyone's post and get kinda jealous, because you all seem to have it going great for you and I am still struggling to figure things out.At any rate I am extremely proud of everyone and there achievements. keep up the great work.

Weight loss is a learning experience for everyone. What works for one does not always work for another. It's hard to get control of food when you love to eat. Being proactive really helps. Read articles and fitness magazines to get some information about nutritious foods. I try to build my diet around lean protein, lean dairy, fruits and veggies. If it comes in a box, bag or can, it's most likely processed. I try to keep processed foods to a small amount a day. They contain a lot of sodium. If you want spaghetti for breakfast, then have it. A food scale, measuring cups and spoons are great weight loss tools. We tend to eat a lot more than we think we do when we just eyeball (especially pasta). It takes time to make changes. Knowledge is power! Good luck to you to!

You will get there! We were all trying to figure it out in a not so distant past *and most of us still are despite what our journals may portray, it's a continual process). You are doing wonderfulband should be so proud of yourself for investing in your health and figuring it out <3
