Bunnyhall's Journal, 20 January 2014

Well people who don't know me personally, most of you, I have something to tell everyone, but please after hearing this don't feel sorry for me or give me any pity or sympathy. I have a heart condition, which I don't want to go into details about. I had a surgery when I was younger to fix it and it's semi fixed. If I have a stationary life, with very little exercise I can live a long life, but if I choose to work out the way I do and enjoy I'm expected to live another 10-20 years. I am 21 right now, and I thought about it a long time (since I was 16) and I had already made my choice 2 years ago, but I thought ya'll would like to hear it. I'm going to continue exercising the way I like. My whole life I've been small and weak and now I'm not as small or as weak. So there you have it, please people who don't have this and are mostly normal, please work your hardest. If I got this, so do you. :)

p.s I mean it, I don't want to hear any "sorrys"

Do what makes you feel healthy. You might just make liars out of the docs.

We all have issues. It is part of being human. Thanks for being honest. Good Luck. :)

I think it is great that you are not just rolling over and giving it. Life is not about how many years we live. It is about the quality of years we have and the love we share with others =)

I have a form of muscular dystrophy called myasthenia gravis. When I was 22 the doctors told me I would be in a wheelchair by age 30. I'm 44 I have yet to be in that wheelchair. I have my moments but I told myself a long time ago I wasn't going to let that happen and so far so good. Fight for YOUR way of life with everything you have and you can't go wrong. It's about attitude and determination and most of all quality of life. Best wishes...we got this!!

Hello Bunnyhall. There are two sayings I like. One.Don't believe everything you're told . Two. Because 200 Frenchman say it's so, don't make it so. When I was 14 years old I was severely burned. I am prone to keloid formations, so, naturally, I refused to get a skin graft when a doctor told me I would have to get one. This doctor also told me I would never be able to use my left arm. He was WRONG on both counts. I have witnessed countless MIRACLES among my oncologic cases that could not be explained. A few of them outlived their physicians. WE are not in control. And remember that our psychology becomes our biology. Please try your best to maintain a positive state of mind. Stay well.
