Well I can't say that I failed getting back on track while the hubby was gone... just wasn't quite as motivated as I thought I was gonna be. I blamed TOM for that.... Both Saturdays he was gone I cleaned and worked and slept.... a lot. Like 2-4 hour naps each day. What a bum. But it felt good. This last saturday I had plans to go out to sushi with my BFF and catch up on some girl time. Just before I was to leave the house I started getting these awful cramps and (TMI ALERT) I was spotting... I just got rid of TOM! WTH?? I popped some advil, laid down for 30 minutes and then was up and on my merry way. The next morning I still felt off. Well to make a long story short, that evening I decided to take a pregnancy test.... AND GUESS WHAT?!?!?! That's right, ladies and gents, I too will be joining the Fat Secret Pregnancy Club! Went and got checked out by a doc in my doctor's office (mine is off on Mondays) and he said everything looks good. Also said he wouldn't be surprised if I was 9 - 10 weeks along based on uterine size. I am hoping that means I get a pass on the debilitating morning sickness I had with my daughter. It's funny too, looking back on the last few weeks: Weight gain, craving sushi like crazy, mild tummy aches at random times, and my massive desire to sleep. BABY!!! Now the goal is to grow a healthy baby without putting on the 60lbs I gained during my last pregnancy. I got this! Hubbs is pretty stoked. He comes home tonight and we have plenty to talk about.
