I want so badly to weigh myself right now but my scale is outta juice :(. It has been flashing "LO" at me for some time now but upon trying to start it up a second time, it would work... then it started taking 3 times, then 4, then nothing!
I have been trying so hard to be good.... except for pigging out on sushi with my boss yesterday. I tried to be good and get some pepperfin as an appetizer but those rolls were COVERED with sauce... so YUMMY!!!
I picked my mama up from the airport last night. Her plane from LAX was delayed slightly and it took forever to get her bags so it was after 9 when the little one and I got home. Hubby was already in bed because he has to work at 6am today. It will be good to have her home, and just in time to need her to back me up. Hubby leaves for Brazil on Saturday and I have to be in Denver for a meeting next Thursday. It's only an overnight thing but I would lost without her home.
Hubbs will be gone for a 8 days. It will be a nice break. I love him but he is extremely needy and occasionally I just need to do my own thing, which he doesn't understand, appreciate or agree with. It is a rarity that I get to go hang out with my friends or even go to the gym by myself, without some kind of guilt trip back lash. Kind of makes me miss the days when we lived 200 miles apart during the week. I will relish this next week!!!!
Hopefully I will be able to squeeze in a trip to the gym tonight. Tomorrow we will be getting our Christmas tree. It's the only time to do it before hubbs leaves and have it be long enough to actually enjoy having it up. Now if only I had done any shopping so there were presents to put under it. Oh well, maybe after this weekend.
Anyways, it's time for me to actually get moving this morning. I have to make sure that the little one and I are dressed appropriately this morning. It could snow into Sacramento!! It was 28 when I dropped her off at school yesterday! It hasn't been this cold since like 2009! Insane! All I have accomplished is making lunches so far but I had to open my work laptop to have it work on loading my emails. They had to rebuild my profile yesterday because they finally changed my last name in all of the business systems. What a HASSLE!!!
