Holy calories yesterday!! I honestly did the best I could with the circumstance, sirloin with a plain sweet potato and salad at dinner. Not sure about the Italian sandwich I had yesterday, it was from wal mart couldn't find an accurate calorie count on that so I estimated high. According to fat secret I still had a deficit. Cheesecake was delicious and now that I've got that out of my system I'm feeling more optimistic.

Dinner with the in laws went pretty well last night. My husband really enjoyed himself and that always makes me happy. The surprise I had for him was a new rocker/recliner that he loves :-) He deserved it for sure. My friend kept it in her garage until yesterday, another successfully pulled off master plan by Yolanda lol.

Not going to the gym tomorrow because I will be baking pumpkin rolls all day, gifts for my family and friends. I'm not concerned about that, I'll be able to abstain. Next week will be my week to enjoy, and then I shall. Tomorrow night is the biggest loser party, nervous!

Still feeling rather heavy, hoping I can get back on the losing side of things after all the craziness next week lol. Right now a loss would be amazing, but more than anything I'm aiming to maintain despite the holidays. Oh, and my husband wants to go out for dinner Saturday night for his birthday, so many uncertainties doesn't make it easy to balance!!

I'm having a hard time balancing calories because last week was such a strict budget that I don't have a lot to work with food wise. (and because we are eating out so much lol) Probably be waffles tonight lol, what can ya do! I'm going to be making tamales at some point as well, I will have to try to come up with an accurate calorie count on those bad boys, not going to be easy!! Maybe I'll make them Saturday... who knows. So much to do, so little time. One thing Is for sure though, I'm not getting anything done sitting here.

I'm glad your hubby had a good birthday!! This time of year is so hard, and with a birthday thrown in and going out to eat that just makes it even harder. I'm sure after the holiday you'll be able to get back into the swing of things. Maintaining during the holiday season is a very reasonable goal. Good luck!!

I totally agree with Mars.... Keep the discipline that you have by logging food and going to the gym. As long as you do that - you will have kept the good habits and mitigated the risk of eating too many calories. You will have trouble getting back to being the Loser that you are after the holidays. You might even surprise yourself with a slight loss during the Holidays. If anyone can do this - you can. I say that because you have the right habits and attitude to get through. The gym being the biggest thing.

You're doing great Yolanda and I know that even during this holiday season you will continue to be mindful of how easily those calories add up so enjoy yourself. We'll (all your buddies) are here to journey with you.

ok...so if you are making the tamales from scratch put it in as a recipe on here. You don't have to share it...keep it to yourself. When you put in the list of what is in there and then how many servings you have it calculates the calories for you. Easy peasy. I do it on my home made stuff so I get a accurate count. Good Luck!
