How are you finding the GI diet? Can you provide me any websites or information so I can research this diet? I am open to just about any diet as long as it is a healthy diet and this one sound like it is. Thanking you in advance. And good luck with your diet. I started the healthy eating plan on Monday July 26 and lost 3.5 pounds this week. I did this plan a few years back and lost weight on it and I felt better.

I picked up on this healthy eating plan about ten years ago and always recommend it. I use it after the birth of my children to loose my pregnancy weight and then stick to it as a sort of guideline to eating to keep the weight off. I have lost 2 stone and 2 pounds (30 lbs, wow sounds a lot reading it like that!) since May 6th. I've got another 12lb to go to get back to my normal weight. Its not like a diet where you restrict yourself. Its just following healthy eating guidelines. The book you want to get you started it by Ian Marber. Its called The Food Doctor Everyday Diet. You can get it for around £2 second hand on Amazon.

Hi Rees, sorry I never responded earlier, but been a real busy week and just finding time to do my online. I will try to read and write more often. Hope your week went well and your plan for your diet was on track. Keep up the good and steady work. It is paying off. Wow is right; I hope I can do as well as that. We’ll see!! I did well this week too, I have lost 5.8 pound (0.414286 ST) since my start date July 31st. (2.9 pound each week.) Reading your message is very encouraging. I am counting my calories and doing around 1200-1300 and I walk 6 days a week; one day for 60 minutes in the evening and then the next day 30 minutes at lunch and for 60 minutes in the evening – trying to mix it up a little. Thanks for the book tip. 
