New record today, kind of. If that makes any sense. My treadmill has three incline settings, and I have been running on the highest one. Today I switched to the middle setting, so it still had a small incline, but not like it was before, and ran 20 minutes. My best time is somewhere around 16 minutes, but there is no way I would have run all 20 if I was still in the higher incline. So I'm excited about it, but yet I'm not. Haha.

Haven't been doing well with food. For one thing, the food I've been eating is crap. For a second thing, I have no idea what the portion sizes I have been eating of said crap food. I'm noticing a trend. When I eat right, I don't exercise right. When I exercise right, I don't eat right. Ack. So that will be my goal this week. Getting back to eating better, and definitely getting back to eating portions that are easily recordable. It's hard around the holidays when there is a modge podge of stuff.

I know exactly what you mean. This weekend was basically shot to hell because of the 4th of July and then the leftovers that ensued. However, if you find that you're struggling to work out well when you eat right, that's a good indicator that you aren't giving your body enough fuel to get the job done. Eat just a little bit more of the good stuff, or add small healthy snacks between meals and see how you feel!
