Ive decided to stop weighing myself everyday. I was starting to get frustrated from day to day, with the scale only going up or down just a lb at a time.
But I don't know why I even give it that much importance, I feel better than I have in a LONG time, I have more energy, I feel the difference in my clothes, So who cares what number the scale says?

Last night I got a text message from my big brother, He just wanted to tell me how proud he was of me, and how awesome I am and how he knows I can do this, and he's excited for me. I really needed it. Since I started this journey, EVERYONE on here has been Sooo very encouraging, and helpful. I'm so thankful for all of my buddies, but I haven't really gotten any encouraging words from anyone close to me. So when I got to talk to him last night, it helped a TON! Just knowing I have so many people who believe in me is such a motivation booster.

I was extremely busy last night at work, and my feet are KILLING me ( remind me to get comfier shoes! lol ) So Im skipping the treadmill today, Ive been doing 35-45 minutes everyday, so I think skipping one day wont hurt.

Hope everyone has had a great week so far!

That is great that your brother called you and is being supportive. Dont discount those around you that are not saying anything.. sometimes they just dont know what to say.. and are afraid of saying the wrong thing. Some people dont want people to tell them that they look like they have lost weight.. so they would not say that to others either.

I agree with Ceebee! People are often conscious of what they say when it comes to weight. I've been posting my total weight loss on facebook each week I weigh in - so most people aren't afraid to say anything to me, but I have run in to a few ;) I do have to say that the cutest compliment I got was from my Pastor (he's my friend on facebook too). He says "I'm not much of a poster on facebook, but I just wanted to tell you you're doing good work on your project!" :) I had to think for a minute of what he was even talking about - but then when it clicked I was like "Yeah, my project, haha - thanks!" I do know what you mean though about those closest to you offering the most encouragement...it's the same way for me. I love it when friends and family can pat me on the shoulder and say good job - it just keeps that motivation to keep going, going strong! :)
