Hello Journal, long time no see. I am going to try and be more disciplined and actually note things daily. It just hasn't seemed like I had anything to say this week.

Still not exercising. My leg is healing... so that means the nerves are growing back... and it hurts! NetteDF & Gwebby & I are supposed to play WII together tonight but they've not been able to for the last couple of weeks so I don't know if we are or not. I have been trying to keep up the Wii but only managed every few days. I can't stand all that long on the leg. *sigh* And the exercycle is right out for the moment. Hopefully by next week I'll be healed up.

I went to my favorite Japanese restaurant the other night. They have a bacon-wrapped scallop dish that is just amazing. And I checked my carbs eaten that day and the carb values for eggplant and for miso and had them hold the miso glaze and had eggplant for the first time since I started this WOE. I only eat it when I go out as my DH doesn't eat it. And I had been avoiding this restaurant because of the miso glaze and not thinking I could resist ordering it. I am so happy to know it is back on my restaurant rotation!

Things have been deadly slow at work. Which gives me time to think about food. I'm not hungry, but idleness somehow triggers the desire to snack. So far I have been totally legal with my snacks - string cheese, boiled eggs, macadamias, etc. But I wish things would pick up a bit.

I am not doing official weigh-ins unless I lose... but I am hovering around 194/195 and not losing. It is frustrating but obviously without exercise I can't really expect otherwise. But it makes me want to cross-examine what I'm eating but I really think that would be counterproductive until I'm exercising again. *Then* if I'm not losing I'll re-evaluate the food, eh?

Okay, this is getting to tl;dr length. Obviously small daily entries would be good!

Dont worry about being lengthy. Gives us losers with nothing better to do something to keep us entertained. Just be patient, you will start losing again. Maybe recheck your measurements?

lol row i thought you kept it quite short! hang in there! an injury is always hard but even more so now that it makes it harder for you to want to cave in! i am routing for ya and praying for ya to heal quickly and have plenty of strength and determination!

Good lord is it Thursday again??? don't know about Wiiing, will give you a call. Life has been busy and lords knows I need the exercise but I have a new chest of drawers to play with and transfer clothes to in an effort to straighten out my bedroom.....I'm not being as diligent at journaling and food entries either. Mainly, as you have elegantly stated out of boredom as much as anything else. It sounds as if we both need to get out of the slumpiness of it all...Have all kind of family stuff going on this weekend. Hmm so next week on Monday? Not leave it to the end of the week when tiredness becomes a factor???
