Two triumphs yesterday!
On the 10th, I flew from Wisconsin to Atlanta. I found that a couple of things changed since last spring.
1) NO seat belt extender. I was able to buckle the belt on both planes and had 4-5" to spare. Last time I needed the add-on extender for one flight and JUST got the belt on the other flight to buckle. BTW, larger plane does not mean larger belt.
2) Tray folded all the way out. Last spring I couldn't fold the tray all the way down. This time, on the 2nd flight I was able to. There was only a fraction of an inch between my belly and the tray, but I didn't have to hold my water in my hand this time.
Both made me feel pretty good about the changes I've made in the past couple of months. Yeah, some of it is work, and some of it is a royal PITA, but fitting into the "regular sized" world a little better is nice.
