It's amazing what happens when, you know, you actually stick to a diet and exercise routine. Those 5 pounds of weight gain from Thanksgiving and buffets? Off in three days. Right back to pre-binge weight. Not that hard. I can't sit here and tell myself that no matter what I do, it won't budge. Because I wasn't actually trying. Gotta try a little harder, deal with it, be real with myself, and that's when results and progress happens.

I'm feeling good this week, probably because I've been planning out my meals at the beginning of the day and sticking to it. It helps. If it's not on the meal plan for the day, it's not in my mouth. That works.

It's December, and the weather here is gorgeous. No snow yet. It's making everybody a little nervous. Does this mean we will have a late and heavy winter in the spring? Who knows. I love Flagstaff weather otherwise.

I know I'm a day late reading your journal but hope you check back I just wanted to say great work. I wish I had your discipline but I'm a lost cause around Christmas. I was better when I was younger. Anyway I'm so happy for you keep up the good work.

Hello again! Thank you. I've been really needing to get back on the horse. Even if I splurge (badly) 3 or 4 times this month (employee holiday dinners, resident events at my work, and Christmas eve/Christmas day), I'm still a step ahead by being good the rest of the month. I try to remind myself that I WANT the change, and that it makes me feel good, not bad! Hope you're doing great!
