Just wanted you to know , you are not alone. My best steps here is to start logging again- EVERYTHING. Not to judge myself, but to be honest with myself . Then I started to consider what looked lopsided... Then I considered the non scale victories...of this new way of eating. Listed them old school - on paper. Then I considered medical conditions...aches and pains. Sleeping? Socializing? Learning anything new? ...If none of the above are the cause of the stall,,.,,I tried to look in the mirror,,,,and accept the new norm and carry on. Easy considering where I came from. This is so doable...not easy...but just today.Hang in there!

I went to look at your food log to see if I could make some suggestions, but you don't log here. Hopefully you do weigh and log your food somewhere. If you don't weigh your food and log it I would strongly suggest you do. You can not make decisions on how to tweek your plan without knowing what is not working. with your glucose so high you are definitely eating some things that cause that. artificial sweeteners can help some people but with many it gives a big hit to the glucose.

Thanks - The 134 seems sort of anomalous, especially since I registered ketones. In hindsight I probably should have re-tested after washing my hands, but since I haven't been diagnosed, those strips are out of pocket and I'm cheap. I keep an eye on my food but I don't track it. I'm really resisting that because I have lost over 100 pounds without tracking (being the father of a T1, I can count carbs in my head pretty accurately, calories not so much). You're right, that is probably the next step in my evolution.

as you lose weight you do need to reevaluate your calorie needs too, that is a lot of weight you lost. if you dislike weighing, just do it to get your new routine set and portion sizes. then go back to the gauging. my glucose goes up when I overeat too much protein and not enough fat. but never over 5.1 that I have seen
