Happy September, everybody! Don't forget to pay your rent!

I'm working pretty much all Labor Day weekend, both today and tomorrow. I have my usual Monday/Tuesday off, but no three day weekend for me, unfortunately.

I'm feeling crampy and bloated today. Ah, joys of being female. Just getting through it, as usal.

So, the worst has happened. My wonderful elliptical machine just isn't cutting it for me anymore. I suppose that after using one 3-4 times a week since January, my body was bound to just get used to it. Even if I up the resistance/incline, I don't feel the same workout I used to. It's not even sweat-worthy, and let's be honest, if I'm waking up at 5:45 am to go to the gym before work, I need to make it 100% worth the effort. So, I'm not going to be using the elliptical unless I need an easy day. I've been on the treadmill and upping my speed and time. Granted, I still hate running (or jogging, as I'm barely fast enough to qualify as running). But I sweat so badly, and I can really FEEL the workout on it. I hate it, but it gets easier every time. I guess there's something to be said about that.

I'm determined to see the scale under 200 pounds next week. It will be my two week mark since weighing in 8 days ago at 204. I KNOW it will say 199 pounds. I can do it if I stay on track :)

You can do it! The coffee I ordered for my 50# weight loss reward has arrived, so now I'm definitely focused on getting back on track myself, I'd love to be able to open the bag and be drinking it next weekend. It's just sitting there, tantalizing me, saying seductively 'You know you want to drink me, all you have to do is drop below 250 lbs...'
