Happy cloudy Thursday from Germany!

So, as I expected, my job is not there anymore.
The news kicked me down yesterday, so on my way back home I stopped at the outdoor swimming pool and swam slowly half an hour. And cried, of course. Anyways, swimming helped me to get rid of the tension and bad feelings.

I am proud of the fact I did not stop in a supermarket and bought all kind of junk food to comfort myself, but went instaed burning some calories. Sport its a much better relief to "soul pain" rather than food, its more effective. Even if eating junk food is so much easier...

Now, I am trying to update my resume, I have not done this for the past two years, and I have a lot more to add. And then I will be job hunting. First of all, I will try looking for the same job I am doing, and in case I do not find anything, then I will look for other kinds of job.

So, this means I have to move to some other place or country. It's kind of annoying, now that I got used to this tiny little town and started making friends, I will move away. Anyway, as soon as I will find something, I hope this disappointment will be replaced by excitement for a brand new place.

It's life and life is what happened. Future is in our hands.

As Kingkeld says "Life is good".

I am so sorry to hear of your job loss. The economy everywhere has been bad BUT for a young and experienced workforce there is always hope. If you are multi-lingual and have a college degree then the world is your oyster. More people from Europe are finding jobs with Multi National firms. If I were you, I would look into a multi-national firm and head to a place you have never worked before. Look at this as an opportunity to broaden your horizons. Onward and upwards. Cheers from London (til tomorrow)...

Thanks Hildi! At the moment I work as a researcher, but in case I will not find anything, then I will follow your advice. I speak Italian, decent English, basic French and German. I am sure I will go to live somewhere else and usually I enjoy living abroad,it's a nice experience. I am looking at job offrs in my research field and seen already a couple of interesting ones and will aplly for them. Let's cross fingers!!
