Well.. I'm feeling physically better today, but now I'm going through the emotional side. Just feel empty (in a emotional way)
Yesterday I spent the day on the couch, did not leave my apartment as I was Leary of going anywhere because I felt so weak. Usually this would have driven me up the wall, but not yesterday I was content to stay in!
The only really bad thing that I ate was spoonfulls of pnb, it was all I wanted. several people have told me that when you crave something that badly it is usually your body telling you something is missing from your diet. I half heartedly believe this, but the other half is it's my comfort food. Something I dive into when I am in an unstable state!
Today however is another day, time to put myself on auto pilot and do what needs to be done without thinking too much about it. In a sence dress myself in armour and put on the mask. The mask that allows people to believe that I am okay, but underneith I'm not.
I will work on this, but for now I need to ride out the internal storm. As long as I watch what I eat and continue to put one foot infront of the other. I will be okay, things will be okay!

Happy you are feeling better, albeit not wholly. Take it easy on yourself-don't wanna stress yourself any further emotionally by mentally beating yourself up. Get through today and know tomorrow is a new day. I get through many a day remembering this. :-) Hopefully you were able to at least enjoy reading some of your books yesterday.

So glad you are feeling a bit better! Peanut butter is a good thing in moderation. If spoonfuls of peanut butter were all you wanted - then go with it. I understand the "put on a mask" metaphor because - to some extent - that is what I must do in the classroom. No student wants a teacher who does not smile. Wearing that happy mask for eight to ten hours is fatiguing however. I am certain all employees must wear that happy mask - except for the grouchy girl who checks my merchandise at my local Wal Mart -- no disrespect to the hard working Wal Mart employees out there!
