Yesterday I realized that the only way to get my feet feeling better was to weigh less. even surgury is not going to help them with the weight they have above them.

I resolved that I will begin to seriously lose wt. Two parts of this plan are avoiding carbs in the form of bread, pasta and sugar and not eating after 7 pm.

Just before the holidays I had begun to change my eating habits, not eating because I was hungry but thinking seriously about what I needed to eat. I certainly have plenty of nutritional stores. So, choosing fruit instead of crackers or toast. No muffins at the coop for breakfast.

Yesterday I had egg veggie bake at the coop in the a.m. I had lunch with camille a sandwich small salad and water and in the evening some grilled veg and pork loin. I had lots to drink during the day and stopped eating before 7pm. I did have some almonds before dinner and 2 diet gin and tonic.

I was very disapointed this morning when I found that my weight was barely changed. a big lesson. it is so much easier to put it on than take it off.

so far today i had eggs, veg and 1 pc of toast, a few bites of a quick bread at coffee and plain yogurt with currants and almonds for lunch. I had an apple later in the afternoon. I will have more pork and veg for supper tonight. I do not plan to change my etoh intake at this time.

I think it will be easier to avoid eating when it is hot as I like cold drinks.

ok for now. my main goal is to preserve my feet.
211.2 lb Lost so far: 5.0 lb.    Still to go: 11.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 1.4 lb a week
