It's been two weeks since I started taking the weight loss business seriously and I am happy to report that I have lost a total of 8 lbs with 17 more to go until I reach my goal. It's results like these that keep me in this game that I have lost at so many times IN THE PAST. Its a new year, a new me, and a new mindset...Fat won't win in 2010!!!! Keep up the hard work to everyone fighting this fight and remember with God all things are possible...and yes that includes losing weight!

If you don't mind me asking, can you tell me what diet you are doing? I work out everyday for about an hour (its all cardio). I burn around 350 calories each day via exercise in the gym. I am watching the food I eat as well. It is just not working for me. Can you help me out?

The weight doesnt seem to budge. It is exactly what it was. I don't know what to do. please help. Basically using calorie counter I am creating a deficit of 1000 each day, so I loose 2 pounds per week. Normally I eat 1000 a day. I feel so frustrated now. Can you please help me out and give me some tips?

Hey Ruby. Everyone's body is different so what works for me may not work for you but..I do 30 mins Cardio, 15min ab work, and 15min strength training. I try to work out 3-5 times a week but I do burn around 600-650 calories a workout maybe more at times and I drink plenty of water. As for food, I dont follow a specific regimine. During the week I eat fruits, veggies, yogurt (dannon because it has all natural ingredients and is fat free), and nuts throughout the day at work and eat a regular meal for dinner including meat but a small portion. I dont count calories because it doesn't work for me and never has. I just eat pretty much all day (fruits veggies, yogurt, nuts) so I dont get hungry and binge and I make sure my dinner is in reasonable portions. I have notice for me though, When I am able to work out 5-6 times a week for atleast and hour, the weight comes off a lot faster (burning about 650 calories a workout). Also I do not deprive myself from sweets. I cheat once a week but in moderation and this keeps me from over doing it or feelign like Im punishing myself. I hope some of this works...at least a little :)
