I must have looked at the clock wrong yesterday. It took me 35 minutes to walk 2 miles today, and I was pushing it, so couldn't have done it in 25 minutes yesterday.
Oh well..it is more the distance than time at this point.
I'm at 7.5 miles for the week so far. Hoping to up my miles about 2 per week.

Good for you! I wish I could walk. It is cold and icy where I live and I would love to hit the sidewalks if I could without killing myself. :) The most important thing is that you are out walking and getting exercise. Don't be hard on yourself and try to push yourself too hard and put too much of an expectation on yourself. Goals are great, but sometimes can hinder us if they don't manifest just as we want them to. I applaud you and say, keep on truckin!

One day it was too cold to walk so I went to the local mall and walked 3 miles around before I treated myself to lunch at Chilli's (at the mall)
The overriding goal is that I'm going to be doing a 60 mile 3day walk in August, so the training thing actually has a purpose.

Wow, way to go girl. I need to get myself some sort of goal like that. Something to reach for. Putting my thinking cap on. Best of luck. You can do it.

that is a great walk. I was pushing 20 mins to get in a mile on the treadmill. I can't wait til I can easily do 2 in 35! Incredible.

When I started in August, I was doing 1/3 of a mile in 18 minutes (and panting as a result). Now I'm doing it in 5 minutes without pushing myself. It is a combo of being 65#s lighter and exercising more regularly.
