Weighing in is probably one of the more basic, but most vexxing things for us on a weight loss/gain journey. To me, it's also one of the most inconvenient. I find it's difficult for me to find a time during the week that I can jump on the scale to record the numbers.

I do find it's easy to jump on the scale before or after getting in the shower every day. It's just that I can't remember on one particular day and only that particular day, but I can easily build a habit of it.

So, I'm still trying to think of a day that is a fail-safe for remembering to record it. Or, maybe I'll just record a lot of data points and let the system figure it out.

I weigh on Sunday morning before I get dressed - and leave myself a note on the kitchen counter the night before to remind me to do that before I eat LOL. For me the key is to make it part of my routine - I always drink coffee before I dress so I'm always in the kitchen first thing so I always see the note and the scale is in the downstairs bathroom right off the kitchen... Still though we don't have to be perfect. If I forget on Sunday there's always Monday :-)

@right-now-or-never, I tried the note thing. It's in digital form and in paper form in things that I look at and use every day. It doesn't register as important in my brain, so I don't even acknowledge it. Figure the constant spam of data points when it's more convenient will be far more likely to happen. ;)
