dameons kitty's Journal, 07 January 2010

Had a small dinner last night at 5:30 but at 11pm I ended up making a taco salad that I never should have had. I just want to kick myself because I knew that it was going to push me over my 1800 calories, I just didn't realize how much.

On a good note I finally got back into the teens (219.5) for the first time since March. Also I am making a huge effort to at least weigh myself every day on the Wii even if it means interupting my husbands ball game to do it.

My next step to to actually exercise at least 10 mins every day instead of reading. When I first started FS, I made extra effort to do the dishes every time but that has slacked off & I need to start doing that again. For me housework is work because I hate it so much. Today I have a ton of clean laundry to hang up & then several loads of dirty laundry to do. I will be very busy.

good for you on the weight loss! I bought my little brother a wii fit last year for his birthday. He never uses it and I could totally have it but I don't have a wii, lol! My sister has one and she uses it everyday! I think I'm going to have to breakdown and buy a scale, but for now I can already tell I'm less bloated from not eating so much crap and feel thinner already! Go us!

I weigh once a week, at most. I find my daily fluctuations in weight disconcerting, and it makes it more difficult for me to see long-term progress when I see short-term hiccups. I do find that daily exercise takes care of some of the fluctuations, too.

understandable since you can fluctuate about 2 pounds each day. you should weigh yourself at the same time every time.

OK, I am WAY too hungry. So far every journal I've read that mentions food, all I can think or comment about is how good the food sounds! Ha. And I hate dishes. I do them, I hate them. They hate me. We have a mutual hate society. CONGRATS on the weight!! I can't wait to be in the teens :)

My can't wait moment is when I get to under 200 pounds again. A year ago I was 203 & 3 years ago it was 160. My progress is slow but hopefully that will help me keep the weight off this time.
