Morning FS,

Here is a question for inquiring minds. How many of you feel you have your Sexy, or Mojo, whatever you want to call it back. I know for myself it is nice when you catch a woman checking you out, not that it happens a lot but it is nice when it does. I know right now since I work with a bunch of younger people and go to school with them at 51 I look and I'm sure feel much better and in better shape than they are. So if I am offending anyone by asking this my apologies up front if you want to remove this post let me know I will, I am just an old school straight up kind of guy. :)

I think sexy is a state of mind. When you "feel" sexy you exude it, attracting others with your vibe. I think it is great when anyone feels that way! You should be proud that you look and more importantly feel sexy/good at any age. But.. its not a competition.. thats just ego and nothing lasting or good comes from comparing ourselves/judging others. As there is always ppl better and worse then ourselves. Be sexy Rokiesfan! show those youngins how to do it ;)

Hey Rockiesfan, feeling sexy is not a bad thing. And just keeping it real here, it does a lot for my self confidence when at 52 I can wear my 22 y/o daughters clothes and still get told I have great legs. I know it's ego... But I come from a long history of mental abuse and poor self image due to a failed 25 yr marriage to a porn addict. I still have a road ahead of me, both physically and mentally, but I'm moving in the right direction. And RG is right, it's not a competition, but I think it is a-okay to be proud of yourself for your accomplishments.

For me, dieting hard suppresses mojo (aka test), and challenges attitude. Lifting has the opposite effect, clinically and subjectively. Peak Mojo = Lean and eating for maintenance or slow bulk. Ideally timed for ..... summer .....

I def feel like I got some mojo back. Ive been approached several times by random guys, and it seems Im always with my mom when it happens.LOL. It feel great. And Im no longer worried about going out now and DH and I have date night at least 2-3 times a month now.. 2 yrs ago I wouldnt have even left my house.. And I dont think this post is offensive in any way.. its good to talk about these things bc self esteem is a huge issue for a lot of us here. AND, Rockies, you look great ! SO flaunt it if you got it !

Getting an education at 51 with many younger students is a challenge to one's self-concept..I speak from experience. Know you will find friends..happy to hear your confidence is growing.

I'm negative on the mojo. I guess it's time for a slow bulk stage or something.

Chica, honey you have some healing to do, what you have just gone through really gives your self\esteem\confidence\image a hard kick in the pants. This too shall pass, you will get your mojo back. :) Rockies fan, thanks for the post, this is actually ONE of the driving forces behind most self improvement attempts. We are all getting older and there is no point in looking and feeling older than you already are, we are turning back the clock....so yeah I feel sexy!

SEXY = THE WHOLE POINT All else is self deception and/or fringe benefit....

@Chica you are MOMENTARILY "negative on the mojo"...

@Chica - BTW, I know you were joking, but here's the lean bulk playbook for the ladies - Train Like a Man to Look Like a Goddess - http://www.leangains.com/2012/10/train-like-man-look-like-goddess.html #mojomama

For me, I'm feeling humble. For the time being I think this is the face of my mojo. Humble helps me keep my nose to the grindstone and to work at my plan. It's a focused deliberate mindfulness. i am so grateful that I landed on this FS website.

Thank you all very much. I dint know this would spark that much in comments but that is a good. @Rguarino I concur. @Carmen Black Dog rocks.@ImLaura sorry for years of abuse he needs his ass whooped no reason for a man to do that to a woman or anyone, great legs are a bonus and in your daughters clothes awesome for you :) @Chica come on now you know you have some MOJO it may be on the shelf but it is there. @Debra I agree with your comments it took me a long time not to see the fat guy in the mirror. @Jimmie :) @Sarah that is a very nice way of putting it and yes I am humble everyday, glad I am vertical and breathing everyday, and grateful for FS. @Red you go get them.

I am ashamed to admit that the degree of sexy feeling depends on the success I'm having with my health goals. I ballooned 10 pounds in about 3 days in mid March and I felt so gross. Generally I know I am attractive and I got very excited when I was able to fit into my size 8 jeans I bought about 10 years ago thinking I was going to lose a little more to fit into them. I feel sexy in my size 8 jeans, especially when there's no muffin top! There is nothing wrong with loving yourself and thinking you look good. I'll also admit that I love it when men notice me. :)

I also got back some of my self esteem since I dropped some kilos in the last few months. I am a bit more confident when just walking on the street or meet new people. I am glad that you bought up this topic Rockiesfan!

Oops, I have a little Debbie Downer trend going. Trying to refocus now. I'm so proud of you guys and gals with your mojo having selves. I will get mine too. Thanks so much Jimmie, Debbie and Rockie. @Jimmie, I was not completely joking I will check out the site, thanks.

You REALLY caught me offguard, but no offense taken Rockiesfan. I'm going thru divorce after a long marriage, so I'm happy, albeit surprised, when I catch a man smile. But I can still rock a bikini. Not bad for 55.

I don't feel my mojo, not like I did ten years ago when I was working out twice a day seven days a week. I think Jimmie nailed it; dieting- not so much, working out- straight up sexual demon. lol Now I've got a three year old daughter, and that might have something to do with it, ever since she was born I don't feel like a wolf looking for raw meat anymore. hahaha

@Simkajj good for you that you can rock a bikini, I know I cant, maybe a speedo, lol no board shorts for me. @Chica no Debbie downer it is there, and you will find it. @Pretty it is a good feeling when you catch someone checking you out.
