Oh what a day-Good Day that is still hanging in there and going to become better. Test tonight at school and hoping to have the motor done by the end of next week, got one piston in yesterday and will get the rest today, along with the rear main, oil pan, hopefully timing gears and cover. Need my Charger going by this summer.

Rockie, I see those Chargers on the road, and like to rev up a bit next to them. My V-6 Honda has lots of get up and go. I'm always pushin it pretty good! Good luck with that!

@Carmen look up 1970 Dodge Charger with 440 six pack, mine is Plum Crazy Purple. @Spirit thank you so much. @Steven 70 Cuda would be awesome and that wouldn't lead to being misguided just fun. @Warren before my other motor seized up I used to get a lot of the little Honda guys revving up next to me, and they are quick cars

A retired friend who lives close by has an original 426 hemi, Dodge Daytona, he is also the original owner...can't remember what year, but who cares, don't know how many built but his is all original and he still keeps it up, driving it every summer...he's had many offers but he isn't selling any time soon.

@R/fan...I checked with the owner of the Dodge Daytona and fact checked what I remembered his son telling me about it to what the owner told me on the phone a few days ago. Firstly, he is the second owner, he bought it in 1975, with very low mileage on it...it's a 1970, it originally came with a 440, but he removed it (perfect shape, still has it crated) and installed the 426 hemi, same engine as the option engine for that year. He still drives it, has had lots of unsolicited offers, but car is not for sale. I'll try and get some pics, maybe even video for you...I know these are super rare, first time I saw it driving up to me I couldn't believe my eyes...the 426 sounds very nice!!
