Yesterday was a bad, bad day. Well the evening was. I am normally good, but the movies got the better of me yesterday. Went and saw a movie with my wife and daughter. But I didn't go there and not have snacks, which I normally am good about. I ended up having about 3/4 of a large popcorn, almost all of the whole thing of pretzel bites, and some of the large pop. :-( So not a good evening. Normally I just have a handful or two of popcorn and I am good. But all the salty goodness got to me yesterday. And today my body is telling me all about it. The nice gain I received off of the scale, the not so good feeling I have because I snacked so not good. But I know that it will come off with some hard work. So I will get back on track. Just needed to get that off of my chest. Thanks for listening. Have a great day everyone.

I hear ya on that one. I had a bad, bad day yesterday too. And today I feel like crap too. I am getting back on the horse today too. I just try to learn from my mistakes and next time do something different. Yesterday I got on the scale and it "said" I gained 6 lbs. Now I know that was impossible and it had to be water weight but I let it get the better of me. I ate all kinds of stuff all darn day. I didn't even enjoy it -- which is a good thing for me b/c normally I am in heaven when I am binging out. I am hoping that the positive changes I am making mean that binge eating is not as nice of an option as it once was. Well let's get back on track together. Thanks for being honest on here - it helped me out today!

Just remember that it's probably water. We don't gain weight overnight, and popcorn and pretzels are salty. Just drink lots of water and flush it out.

Oh wow. Popcorn. I've told everyone that I go to the movies with that popcorn has been making me sick - now they have stopped offering me any. I always take a tootsie pop with me (60 calories) and make it last as long as possible.

DUUUUDE, this ALWAYS happens to me... its what you choose to do after wards that makes the difference. We all cheat. We all love popcorn ! Brush it under the rug and get back on track .. you got this.

You can consider what happened as a possitive cheat/trick for your body, eating snacks will not erase all the other good efforts you've already made. Try not to use the phrase ''get back on track'' because you already started, it's just another step in your way to the goal
