Day 2 of no smoking. I am starving! Can't wait for lunch time. Trying to be very careful, but I don't have an afternoon snack planned and I know I am going to need one. I may have to run out at lunch time to pick up something healthy and low carb for snacks.

WAY TO GO quitting smoking! Hang in there, might be tough now but it'll be worth all the effort.

Try raw carrots. Also snap peas which can be very chewy. Plan "volume" meals -- in other words, lots of fibrous veggies that fill you up with few calories or carbs. I did this three years ago and you can too! just go for it. Good luck.

Hi, I've been there, quitting is super hard but gets easy after day 2... This is the day where you can relapse so easily. Please remember the reasons why you chose to quit- keep it sacred in your heart. Gums, breath mints do help. Go to bed early, idle hands are what can destroy your success. Funny tv shows, don't watch anything depressing. You can do it, wear comfy clothes!

Been smoke free for over 20 years. I still remember how hard it was, but it's doable. Best of luck to you.

1 more day and the physical cravings are all over. The mental ones are the ones that get ya. They take forever to break. Be prepared for any and all situations. Wonderful job on handling no smoking and low carbing. Fantastic will power
