I bought Silk Vanilla Cashew Milk just because I have been too lazy to make my own. I bought only because it was marked 2.00 off, so it was cheap. When I tracked it I realized, DAMN that's a lot of sugar/carbs. I guess it's not extremely bad, I am using for my protein shakes but I am always so careful with labels. I guess I read the ingredients, and the non-GMO, calories, was not mindful of the sugar number. Not sure if I should dump the rest or keep using. Any thoughts?

I find almond milk has less carbs...YOU have lost over 75 pounds and close to goal now - if it tastes good, use it and then buy something else next time - unless it feels like you would gain from it!

Oh - I forget to say I get UNSWEETENED vanilla almond milk - that is why the carbs stay low.

Thanks guys. Yeap, got rid of it. Figured I will continue to make my own. More calories, but nutritional value is more important. Been sliding lately. Had bought ONE Lenny and Larry's Pumpkin Cookie last month and turned out to be moldy. Should have stopped there, but NO I called them and explained. Well, their AMAZING customer service sent me a whole damn box of Lemon Poppy. I have been having a half here and there, but the problem is....drum roll....SUGAR! Half a cookie which is a serving has 4 t. of sugar. LMFAO....can't win can I. I will keep there and try to avoid them for a while. October starts my downfall every year. Right now struggling with food. I JUST WANT FOOD!!!

Oh yeah, another downfall....those damn UTZ Mini Halloween pretzels. Since we didn't have kids come cuz of the rain, I had tons of candy and pretzels. My husband took on the candy (I should have donated it because he ate so much of it---almost all gone). I have been eating those pretzels in the evening bringing my carb intake up. Did I mention I love pretzels, not chip, not any other crap...pretzels!! Whew feel better getting that of my chest.

FYI -- AlmondBreeze now offers an unsweetened, unflavored AlmondMilk/CashewMilk blend that I really like (25 cals for 1 cup).

yes I have tried the cashew milk that is 25 calories and trace on the carbs. I use almond milk the vanilla unsweet in my coffee. 30calories and less than 1 carb for 1 cup. I really like it,

Picked up my big bag of almonds yesterday...2 seconds in vitamix and BAM, almond milk. :) I know it has the fat but also the protein. Funny that I love real nut milks but I cannot stand to eat nuts or nut butters. Jealous of those that love them.
