Last campground workout. Did treadmill, biceps and triceps with a bit of boxing mixed in. 1st pic is for wifey. She suggested pushups on ball. 1st time, ball was above knees, 2nd ball was below knees, 3rd time was able to get ball at ankles.8xs,3 sets.

How you workout with your hair down is beyond me. Doesn't it fall in your face and stick to your sweaty skin? Certainly pretty for pictures, though!

YOH, Thanks, I find it interesting that when I flex I have muscles but to look at me at rest you can't see it. It really bugs me. Also find it interesting that I have been lifting lighter per Dr but it hasn't really affected muscle mass. I do more reps most of time though. 🩷

You look amazing Diana. You, like me, have to remember we aren’t 20 or 30 anymore so our skin has changed that may be part of it. Ive seen your pix with joe and you look just gorgeous. Have you noticed other women our age? Not many look like you love. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Your lovely at rest and flexed.🥰

Wow you are looking awesome! I don't know how you work with your hair down either! LOL I come out of my workout and my short hair is soaking wet. I am interested in what you are doing with the ball. I don't do pushups at all. Where do you feel it in your muscles with the different positions on the ball?

Wifey, You have gotten me hooked on the ball! I love the challenge! I truly thought it would be fairly simple but it took me awhile to get to where I could do a proper pushup with ball at ankles. It was a process. You really have to use your core. I can also feel it in my shoulders and chest. Thanks and I'm buying one when I get home! 💪🩷🩷🩷🩷

Diana, You are such an inspiration to me👑 So far in my journey, i’m a former couch potato trying to become a sit and be fit kind of girl myself!! I applaud you and i’m looking to get close to doing that down the road🏋🏾‍♂️

RPL, Thank you! Per Wifeys suggestion I started doing push-ups with the ball. It is a process to get used to. The first try I had it slightly above knees in order to stay balanced. When doing that it’s like doing a push-up on your knees. 2 nd attempt was below the knees which takes a bit more core strength. It like doing a slightly inverted push-up. 3rd attempt, ball was at ankles. Hardest time yet as core really has to be engaged to stay balanced. I could only do 5 the first time before my core gave out. I did the push-up in good form and slow to get maximum benefits. I felt it in my core, my outer chest muscles, and even shoulders and back. I do push-ups at least 3xs a week. I’m hooked on using the ball now! 💪🏼💜

Most people who have never tried/used an exercise ball don’t know how it intensifies the workout. I am always looking for more advanced techniques to incorporate it into my home workouts.
