Ah, journaling. I got away from it for a while. So much so I had no idea what week I was on in my weight loss!

Just finished week 7 and I am down 9lbs. now. That is just over a lb a week that I am losing, average. So that means at this rate it will be 41 weeks at this rate to lose all my weight before my 40th birthday. Which means, I may need to kick it up a little because there were only 39 weeks until my birthday. Fairly close to it. But my estimation of losing weight faster at the beginning hasn't happened either. My goal for my challenge was to lose 16 lbs. in 8 weeks (the challenge started a week after my official weight loss start date). I have only lost half that for my challenge with 2 weeks left to go. I am realistic enough to know I won't lose 8 lbs in the next 2 weeks. But 2-4 would be nice! Actually, what is even more exciting than that is come next Monday, I should be at the 10lbs lost mark. WOOHOOOO! Something to work towards.

This week will be a lighter week for me, workout wise. Just going 3 days this week instead of 4. I plan to do 4 days of cardio in there too. Likely, hubby and I will do some bike riding this week since it is a lighter work week for us before school starts. However, after this week is over, I will start going to the workout classes 5 days a week. Then I have to figure out cardio because mostly we work evenings during the school year, which means no bike rides. I always have the treadmill as a last resort though.
