I know I lucky that my 2 teenage sons get along so well. They are almost exactly 2 years apart. When they were babies, it felt like I had unlocked the secret to the universe because they practically functioned as a single unit in so far as what they considered fun. It made life simple and simple joys go a long way... especially with little ones.

My brother and I are Irish Twins. We were born the same year. We were close as children (also had daily fights) and as young adults, but then we drifted apart in our 30s. My two teens are already drifting. I hope that it is only temporary. There are challenges when you are close in age. I think the biggest one is having and/or fighting over friends or boyfriends/girlfriends. Teens need their own identity, and being in the same circle of friends can make that difficult.

TUD, It seems to me as though your heart holds a great deal of love for your family; regardless of life's events... 🧡 your daughters are perfection. 🧡 the little ones teach us so much.

The Covid mask pic gets me every time. Little sister saying goodbye and good luck on big sister's first day of 1st grade.

Awesome beautiful pix!!! Daddy, did you end up finding something closer to home that deserves you? If yes, what dept did you end up in?

YOH, no. 😔 I haven't worked after orientation two weeks ago. I will only do PRN for a few shifts a month while I look for something. My life is crazy stressful right now. My oldest decided to stay here. So I'm busy with that transition.

Prayers what is meant for you will be spectacular!! Nice to have your oldest stay right? Remember to breathe. Stress is no bueno. (Said the girl who was stressed her entire life😂)

Yes, it's nice to have her back. However, she is almost 18 and thinks she is an adult that can do whatever they want. Everyday is stressful. I'm sure it will get better one day. Or maybe not. Lol

From around 17-25 girls can be challenging, annoying, sometimes downright stupid and yet we love them to the ends of the earth. Hang in there UD and try and be patient with her. Young people dont know how to see around corners or over cliffs and rarely believe adults who try to warn them. Be patient, kind and loving and firm. The social media influences out there definitely make it harder.

OMG, I have to wait another 8 years until she calms down? I might not make it that long. Lol
