Missed 2 days of resistence training earlier in the week... so I made up for it by doing 2 workouts yesterday! Started with 70 minutes of lower body and abs, downed some protein powder and did 70 minutes more of upper body. Felt great. This morning, I completed my first 5K... not a real 5K, but I did 3.2 miles of run/walk intervals in the neighborhood. Started with 5 minutes of walking, then 2 minutes of running, then 2 minutes of walking... and repeated that cycle for 36 minutes, then a 3 minute walk at the end... 44 minutes total. Kept heart rate between 125 and 155. No issues.
