Ok, can someone explain why I lost 4 kgs after I returned from my vacation? I gained 3 kg right after I returned, but now lost 4 kgs in just a week. Is that just water weight then that I gained on my vacation, and not fat?

It sounds like water weight to me. If the weight stays off consistently then it was water weight

Yes! When you eat without a deficit, your body stores excess calories (up to about 2000) in the form of glycogen in your muscles and liver, which is I think 80% water. When you came back from your vacation and resumed your diet, your body first worked through its glycogen stores before burning fat, and you lost the water weight bound up with the stored calories. I hope this helps!

Well if you ate out a lot, restaurant food contains tons of sodium. So much of it can be bloat. Just drink water and keep going.

You can drop water weight pretty fast, you just need to eat healthy. Everytime you binge you will see a big gain but that's mostly just water. When you weigh yourself everyday you will notice everything. Some people that would drive crazy.

Ok, thanks for your answers! I always thought you immediately start gaining fat and not just water. That clears it up!

You may have gained a few grams of fat depending on how much you ate but most of it is just water. You need to eat 3500 calories more then you burn to gain a pound of fat.
