Diet break. Taking a break from over eating for a week

On training days I try goto get a minimum of 3300 and on rest days 3100. But I’m so sick of eating that I’m not even looking forward to eating anything anymore lol

Gotcha I'm only just over 5 weeks in and I have days where im like ugghhhh its time to eat again I can't imagine what that will be like afew months from now 🙃

I've been wondering if you lowered it on non weight training days that's what I've been doing as well still I'm a surplus every day but to I didn't see a point to being drastically higher on non triang days

Lol yea in the beginning I didn’t cuz I was enjoying it. But then I’m like I don’t need to force eat that much when I’m expending less energy. I also was eating 3500-3600 but when I deload, I cut off half the sets so 3300 did the job. Just gonna eat till satisfaction and only make sure to hit the protein goals for a week. Maybe I’ll start enjoying food again 😂

Not gonna lie, my grocery bills almost doubled. But that’s with inflation also

I don't think mine went up all that much except breakfast deffinitly went way up. All the other meals prob about the same maybe some even less. Sweet potatoes and brown rice are cheaper than all the fresh veggies I was eating. I still eat those also but eating both probably balances it out

Merms you knew from the beginning that this day would come.... Diablo man... once cottage cheese doesn’t taste like cottage cheese anymore I couldn’t do it. Ended the day on 2800 and I feel relieved and happy! Like I had a cheat day!

Yea I found out I sleep better this way. I just chill and throw on a movie, already brushed my teeth n everything and if I fall asleep early then so be it 🤷🏾‍♂️ vs eating around 9 brushing at 10 then chilling till 12 or 1 sometimes 2 or 3 until I’m sleepy. Somehow brushing my teeth keeps me awake!

Me too, I sleep better after a meal. When I diet the deficit can keep me awake but I can fix that with a large meal.
